today is a new day!

i didn’t get much sleep last night. it’s cool, though. i read, and read, and read for hours after the sun went down. i felt great sitting there in my bed, turning one page after another, never wanting the story to end. finally, at about three a.m. or so, i finished the book. my reward? i found out what happens. my punishment? today i had to get up early. 

moral: make more time to read during the day. make more time to sleep at night. 

some things that i have to do today are finish writing out a couple of proofs for class and finish two papers. i have to finish compiling a proof of the beta-function lemma, and a proof of the first and second incompleteness theorems so i can present them. i also have to write my end-of-the-semester paper for a seminar, also know as the seminar paper, and a baby four-pager. i have about 10 pages of my seminar paper done (10 good pages), which is due on the 28th and must be 15 pages of “excellent dialectic.”
